The Quincy Symphony Orchestra

The Quincy Symphony Orchestra, established in 1947 by George M. Irwin, performs five concerts annually. 

These include four subscription concerts, including the annual Young Artists Concert, and three performances
of annual Young People's Concert.

Experienced violinists, violists, cellists and string bassists are always welcome to audition.

The QSOA is a member of the American Symphony Orchestra League, the Illinois Council of Orchestras,
and Quincy Society of Fine Arts.
