In 1972, the Quincy Choral Society joined the QSOA and became the Quincy Symphony Chorus. Past conductors include George M. Irwin and Douglas Reeve. Dr. Phyllis Robertson has been Chorus Conductor since 1989. Chorus members have traveled With Dr. Robertson to New York’s Carnegie Hall and to Europe, including a performance tour in Italy.

The Symphony Chorus rehearses on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:15 PM from August through April, preparing and performing two choral concerts, and often joining the Quincy Symphony Orchestra for performances of choral masterworks.
