Paul Fessler is Associate Professor of History at Dordt College in Iowa. 

He earned his PhD in history at Texas A&M University with a focus on immigration and ethnicity in American history.  Until 2002, he was a professor at Culver Stockton College, a resident of Quincy, and a member at First Presbyterian Church.   His recent publications include “The Political and Pedagogical in Bilingual Education: Yesterday and Today” in German-American Immigration and Ethnicity in Comparative Perspective (University of Wisconsin Press).
